Wearable Connect File
Some devices output their data as files. Wearable Connect File transfers these exports into the Datico® LIFE HUB in a structured way – an established connection path alongside Cloud and Bluetooth.
Not every wearable is connected to a cloud or transmits its data via Bluetooth. Many devices – such as certain sports watches – allow their recorded activities and measurements to be exported as files. This is exactly where Wearable Connect File comes in.
Via the file-based path, these exports are transferred into the Datico® LIFE HUB, matched to the existing people and points in time, and merged into the same structured data repository as all other sources. The file route therefore remains a deliberately supported, fully valid part of Wearable Connect – even if cloud and Bluetooth connections are used more frequently in everyday work.
How it works
How file exports reach the LIFE HUB
Export
The wearable or the manufacturer application outputs the recorded data as a file.
Transfer
The file is imported into the Datico® LIFE HUB and matched to the right person.
Analyse
The imported values are available for references, trends and evaluations – like any other source.
