Secure Data Transmission

Data is most vulnerable in transit. The Datico® LIFE HUB transmits it between devices, apps and the platform in encrypted form only – protected along the entire transmission path.

Health and performance data travels many paths in the Datico® LIFE HUB: from the diagnostic device to the platform, from the app to the end device, from the platform to connected systems. On each of these paths the data is protected by transport encryption, so it cannot be read or altered in transit.

Encryption applies throughout – between end devices, apps and the platform as well as between the platform and connected third-party systems. What needs to stay confidential stays confidential, regardless of which networks the data travels over. This protection along the transmission path complements the organisational and technical measures of the Datico® LIFE HUB.
