Before a person's health and performance data is processed in the Datico® LIFE HUB, their consent comes first. With double opt-in, they confirm their consent in two separate steps: consent is granted first, then verified a second time through a separate channel – such as a confirmation link. Only then does processing begin.
This creates robust evidence that the individual – whether athlete, patient or study participant – has genuinely and knowingly agreed to the processing of their data. Every consent is recorded with its time and scope and can be revoked at any time. The procedure is aligned with the requirements of the GDPR.
