The Datico® LIFE HUB delivers its data via the Smart API – a fully documented REST interface. Business intelligence tools connect directly to this interface and gain access to all measurements, scores, indices, and longitudinal data stored on the platform. The result: live dashboards and reports that always reflect the current data status from the LIFE HUB – no manual exports, no file transfers, no media breaks.
Security
No uncontrolled data access.
Every connection – whether from Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Excel – uses individual API credentials. These credentials are bound to a Datico® LIFE HUB user who has defined access rights via the roles and rights management. A BI tool therefore always sees exclusively the data that the associated user is actually authorised to access – no more, no less.
API credentials per user
Every BI connection authenticates with a personal API key. This key is bound to the LIFE HUB user and automatically inherits their access rights.
Roles & Rights Management
Which persons, events, and parameters a BI user may view is centrally controlled in the LIFE HUB. The dashboard always shows exactly that – and nothing more.
Encrypted & audited
All API accesses are TLS-encrypted and fully logged in the LIFE HUB audit trail – GDPR-compliant and audit-proof.
