Via the Datico® Smart API, AI systems — from Large Language Models to ML pipelines — gain direct, structured access to all measurements, scores, longitudinal data, and insights stored in the LIFE HUB. The AI system submits a query, and the LIFE HUB responds with the data — always strictly limited to the scope permitted by the stored API credentials and the roles & rights management.

LLM-Based Analysis
A Large Language Model retrieves structured data for an athlete, patient, or study participant via the Smart API and generates a natural-language evaluation — a progress report, summary, recommendation, or status assessment.
Coaches, therapists, and physicians receive an easy-to-read report that translates measurements, scores, and trends into clear prose — without any manual effort.
RAG – Ask Your Data
With Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), an AI system can selectively query LIFE HUB data and answer context-specific questions: "How has athlete X's endurance developed over the last 8 weeks?" or "Which patients have fallen below the reference value for parameter Y?"
The system retrieves exactly the relevant data via the Smart API and generates a precise, data-driven answer.
ML Models & Pattern Analysis
Machine learning models train and infer on longitudinal data stored in the LIFE HUB. Injury risk, overtraining detection, therapy outcome prediction — ML models reveal patterns that remain invisible in manual data review.
AI-Powered Recommendations
AI systems combine current measurement data with reference values, longitudinal history, and norm ranges from the LIFE HUB to derive individualized recommendations — for training management, therapy adjustment, or intervention.
Security
The AI only sees what it is permitted to see.
An AI system is an external system — and is treated exactly like any other. Access to LIFE HUB data always requires individual API credentials. These credentials are bound to defined roles and rights within the LIFE HUB. The AI system therefore cannot access persons, parameters, or events for which no permission exists. Uncontrolled AI access to patient or athlete data is structurally prevented.
API Credentials
Every AI connection authenticates with a credential pair. These credentials are bound to a LIFE HUB data access profile — with precisely defined read permissions.
Roles & Rights Management
Which persons, groups, parameters, and time periods the AI system may query is configured centrally in the LIFE HUB — independent of what the AI model could technically request.
GDPR-Compliant
All AI access is TLS-encrypted and logged in the audit trail. Data sovereignty remains with the LIFE HUB operator — AI systems receive only temporary, secured read access.
